As The TX Studio navigates a period of transition under new ownership and a rebranding initiative, we have found profound inspiration in the significance of color and shape. We have come to recognize the profound influence these elements can wield, shaping perceptions and evoking emotional responses. Whether it's the nuanced hue of a particular shade of blue eliciting a specific emotional resonance or the strategic design of a logo communicating a brand's identity before its essence is even articulated, we appreciate the transformative power inherent in these creative choices.

So for 2024, The TX Creative Residency Program launches "Shape Shift: Exploring Color and Form," an immersive exploration into the transformative potential of shape and color in creative expression. This theme serves as a catalyst for artists to delve into the dynamic interplay between these elemental components, offering boundless opportunities for experimentation and innovation.

Drawing inspiration from the fluidity of shapes and the vibrancy of colors, "Shape Shift" invites creatives to reimagine the boundaries of traditional artistic mediums and visual storytelling. How do you interpret shape and color? Through photography, videography, multimedia installation, or immersive experiences. We welcome you to challenge the conventional norms and perceptions and share what “Shape Shift” means to you.
